The CAT5E-1M is a highly durable Cat5e cable designed for bi-directional digital audio network data transmission. It features Neutrik etherCON NE8MC-1 connectors with an integrated O-ring gasket, providing IP54 water protection. This cable is ideal for demanding environments such as concert tours and festival applications.
Compatible with Midas PRO and M Series, as well as Klark Teknik products equipped with HyperMAC and copper snake interfaces, the CAT5E-1M is capable of transmitting up to 192 bi-directional channels of 24-bit digital audio at a 96 kHz sample rate. Additionally, it supports 24 and 48 bi-directional channels at varying sample rates, making it versatile for different audio needs.
The CAT5E-1M is also suitable for standard Ethernet applications, supporting both 100 Mbit/s and Gigabit networks. Constructed with Belden 1305A unscreened cable, it features 24 AWG bonded-pair stranded copper conductors with polyolefin insulation and protective PVC jackets, ensuring durability and reliability.
