QSC E112 Trapezoidal Two-Way Loudspeaker

The black QSC E112 is a versatile trapezoidal, two-way loudspeaker designed for various sound reinforcement applications including live performance, DJ and dance music, karaoke, and event production. It is powered by a minimum 400W continuous (1600W peak) amplifier, driving a 12″ woofer and a 1″ compression driver that produce a frequency response of 64 Hz to 20 kHz (-6 dB) and a peak SPL of 128 dB.

The 15mm, 11-ply enclosure provides a direct-match-transition (DMT) coverage angle of 85°, ideal for medium and medium-to-long-throw applications. An all-metal, dual-angle, 35mm socket allows for vertical or 10° angled mounting on a pole, optimizing audience coverage and minimizing rear wall reflections.

Digital Signal Processing

QSC recommends using a DSP speaker processor or an amplifier with integrated DSP to set crossovers, limiting, and equalization for optimal performance. Compatible models include QSC’s GXD or PLD amplifiers, and TouchMix digital mixers which feature on-board DSP and factory-tuned presets for various applications such as live sound, stage monitoring, dance music, and karaoke.

Construction and Connectivity

The E112 is built with a rugged 15mm, 11-ply enclosure and a foam-lined perforated steel grille to protect the internal components. Multiple mounting options are available using E Series Yoke or M8 eyebolts (sold separately). The loudspeaker includes dual NL4 and screw terminal receptacles for input connections.
