The Gold 300 has been engineered to deliver a true audiophile experience. Premium driver technology taken from Monitor Audio’s flagship Platinum II series is combined with class-leading cabinet construction to produce speakers designed to last a lifetime. The deceptively large cabinet houses a 2½” (64 mm) C-CAM mid-range driver with an MPD high-frequency transducer above and a pair of 8″ (203 mm) RDT II bass drivers below in a true three-way arrangement.
A pair of rear-facing HiVe II ports provides smooth airflow and ample bass reinforcement, making the Gold 300 ideal for larger listening rooms. The speaker’s dynamic punch, fine subtlety and fidelity deliver effortless authority from an extended top end (to 50 kHz) down to a solid 30 Hz, suitable for both music and demanding home cinema applications.
Key premium touches include pureflow silver-plated OFC internal cabling, bespoke magnetic grilles, gold-plated bi-wire terminals, soft-touch top trim, single-bolt-through driver technology for increased rigidity, and sturdy cast metal outrigger feet with spikes or rubber feet for varied flooring.
