Description

The BW-3 is designed as a high-bandwidth subwoofer with the objective of reproducing optimal dynamics and precision. Unlike traditional subwoofers limited to low frequencies, the BW-3’s driver and amplifier allow extension up to 800 Hz in bypass mode, improving transient response and integration with main speakers.

Powerful and compact design

The internal amplifier is Lyngdorf Audio’s Class-D design, built from over 15 years of Class-D experience. With 400 watts RMS available, the amp tightly controls the 8″ long-throw driver even at high levels. The custom-designed driver and compact 7 L cabinet allow impressive output and fast response from a very small enclosure.

Flexibility in installation

The BW-3 includes a bypass switch for direct connection to Lyngdorf amplifier outputs (or other equipment) and standard signal controls on the amplifier module. The compact footprint and removable feet mean the unit can be placed upright or on its side to suit décor and room layout, making it ideal for both stereo and home cinema setups.
