The DN9680-MM multi-mode optical fibre transceiver module kit is a retrofit replacement designed to convert two KLARK TEKNIK DN9680 8 Port AES50 Extender and Multiplexer units from single mode fibre to multi-mode fibre operation. A pair of DN9680 units fitted with DN9680-MM modules enables a bidirectional optical link on one multi-mode dual fibre cable and supports the transmission of 192 bidirectional channels of 24-bit digital audio at a 96 kHz sample rate over a 500-metre range.
