The Genelec 8331 is a white-finished point-source near-field monitor designed for professional audio applications. It features a coaxial design combining midrange driver, treble tweeter, and dual 5.1" woofers for precise sound alignment and accurate point of sonic radiation. The monitor supports both analog and digital AES/EBU signals via XLR jacks and uses Intelligent Signal Sensing technology (ISS) for automatic audio type detection. Genelec’s GLM software allows for room tuning, monitor daisy-chaining, and ISS function override. Connectivity is managed with Cat5 cables and an optional GLM adapter. The monitor includes DIP switches, a rotary level control, reflex port, Iso-Pod stand, acoustically concealed woofers, coaxial construction, and a proprietary waveguide.

The Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM) software enables you to fine-tune your setup for optimal performance in any environment, while the smart use of Cat5 cables allows seamless daisy-chaining of multiple monitors.
This monitor includes DIP switches and a rear-mounted rotary level control for offline adjustments, plus an Iso-Pod stand for surface isolation. The acoustically concealed woofers, minimum diffraction coaxial (MDC) drivers, and extensive directivity control waveguide (DCW) collectively ensure clear and precise audio output.
