For an expanded performance rig, the External Speaker socket can also be used to bypass the internal 10” driver and hook up to a larger cabinet (such as the LX412). The LG20R takes its tonal cues from its bigger tube brothers. The clean channel chimes away nicely and takes on a pleasant bite at higher volumes. Switch to the drive channel, set the drive and the master controls as desired, and the LG range will yield a range of tones, from just breaking up to saturated sustain, with an increasing degree of crunch and raunch in between. On both channels the three band tone controls contribute a subtle degree of shaping rather than creating extreme sounds.

The LA65D houses a twin channel pre-amp that’s packed with features – Channel 1 takes care of a mic input, additional guitar or keyboard. You then have a gain control, independent Lo & Hi EQ and an independent reverb control. Channel 2 takes a similar format to that of the LA35C adding a Pre shape option – for an instant natural mid cut plus bass & treble boost, a phase switch, along with digital chorus and reverb, plus a SHIMMER feature – allowing you to emphasise the sparkly bright sound of the onboard chorus.

The rear of the unit houses a headphone socket, XLR DI out with a ground lift switch to eliminate ground loop hum and FX loop send and return with switchable level/by-pass switch. Finally a footswitch socket allows remote controlling of the chorus and reverb.

The LA65D handles anything plugged into it with ease, be it a regular 6 string dreadnought or parlour, nylon or 12 string, more than anything else what really impressed me was the clarity and definition of the overall sound. Nothing was lost from the natural guitars tone – everything was there, present and correct.

The L5T-112 features a chrome twin channel pre amp with a Bright switch, shared 3-band EQ, global Tone and Studio-quality Digital Reverb. Constructed from Marine Grade Plywood with retro banding strip and leather strap handle, the L5T-112 looks as good as it sounds.

With less of a emphasis on preamp distortion, with the L5T-112 you can hear and feel the power tubes clipping to breakup, giving a much richer harmonic content and a larger dynamic range. With the L5T-112 you can really feel and hear the differences in tone based on your picking technique.

The Lionheart L50H's BITE control tightens up the bottom end giving a clean and clear punchy sound, whilst the tone control works in a similar fashion to the Tone controls on your guitar except that it works uniquely on the other end of the amplification chain. Giving you the ability to control not only the overall top end response but also reduce the upper end harmonics on the output stage and preamplifier overdrive sounds.
The Dynamics control allows you to control the Lionhearts low frequency response dialling clockwise gives a more extended low-end response. Dialling the Dynamics control counterclockwise tightens up the low-end response.

The L50H rear panel features an FX loop with Bypass/Insert/Side Chain operation modes with a level control, the footswitch socket as well as housing the Preamp Out/Power amp in sockets along with the speaker connections for 8 & 16 Ohm cabinets.
Each Lionheart L50H features a hand stamped "build number" in the order they came of the production line. Designed and manufactured in the UK.

Designed and engineered to compliment the L50H’s sonic output each L412 is manufactured from high-grade premium marine plywood and loaded with 4 12” Celestion G12 Heritage drivers which together deliver 120 RMS of great vintage tone.

Finished in the same Marine Blue/Beige livery as the L50H and the rest of the Lionheart range the L412 comes with castors as standard and a protective embroidered slipcover.
