The Yamaha DXS18XLF is a high-performance powered subwoofer that delivers powerful and precise bass for any application. Designed for extending the low frequencies of full-range speakers, it is ideal for use with Yamaha’s DZR-series powered loudspeakers. With an 18″ woofer driven by a 1600W Class-D amplifier, this robust subwoofer can achieve a frequency range of 30 to 150 Hz and a maximum SPL of 136 dB.

The DXS18XLF features advanced DSP bass management and three selectable modes (Normal, Boost, and Xtended LF) for versatile sound shaping. For larger setups, Cardioid mode can be employed to reduce stage volume while boosting audience-directed bass.

Connectivity options include two combo XLR-1/4″ inputs and XLR thru/outputs, plus a USB port for system upgrades. The durable plywood cabinet is lightweight and coated with Polyurea for long-lasting performance. An optional cover and wheel kit are available for easy transport and protection.
