The MG06X from Yamaha is a compact six-input mixer with integrated effects, designed for small performances, lectures, recordings, and similar applications. It features two XLR-1/4″ combo mic/line inputs with D-PRE mic preamps and two 1/4″ stereo line inputs with individual level controls.
Each mic/line input is equipped with a 2-band EQ and a high-pass filter at 80 Hz. The signature D-PRE mic preamps utilize an inverted Darlington circuit and offer switchable 48V phantom power, making them suitable for both dynamic and condenser microphones. Additionally, each input includes a 26 dB attenuation switch, perfect for managing high-volume sound sources like guitar amplifiers.
