The Monitor Audio Gold FX 5G is a compact, discreet surround speaker that packs two MPD high-frequency transducers and two 4″ (100 mm) mid/bass C-CAM drivers into a slim, wall-mountable cabinet. It can be flush-mounted and switched between bi-pole or di-pole modes at the flick of a switch, allowing you to tailor the surround dispersion to suit your room and taste.

Now in its fifth generation, the Gold range represents a reference standard in sound and style, with technology derived from Monitor Audio’s Platinum II models. MPD (Micro Pleated Diaphragm) tweeters deliver extended, detailed treble up to 50 kHz, while RDT II hybrid-cone mid/bass drivers provide precise, life-like bass and midrange. The sealed cabinet design and angled baffles let the speaker work with the wall to reinforce sound, and dedicated flexible wall brackets are included for easy installation.

The Gold FX also features premium construction details — single-bolt-through driver mounting, Pureflow silver-plated OFC internal wiring, high-quality crossover components and bespoke magnetic grilles — delivering both refined performance and luxurious finishes (Piano Gloss Black, Satin White, Dark Walnut or Piano Ebony).
