Sonus faber Amati G5 – Italian Craft, Concert-Hall Realism
The fifth generation of Amati refines Sonus faber’s Homage philosophy with a
lute-shaped cabinet wrapped in real wood and leather, coupled with proprietary
acoustics for breathtaking realism. A DADâ„¢ (Damped Apex Dome) Arrow Point
28 mm tweeter delivers airy, extended highs; a 150 mm midrange in an
Intono sealed chamber preserves timbre purity; and two 220 mm woofers, vented
via the Stealth Ultraflexâ„¢ aerodynamic duct, provide powerful, well-controlled
low frequencies. A hand-soldered, Phase-Coherent crossover ensures seamless
integration and 3D imaging across the band.
