The VIO S118 is a high-performance, flyable active subwoofer featuring an 18” neodymium woofer. Designed to extend low-end frequencies with precision, it delivers impressive SPL and phase-coherent wavefronts when combined with VIO L210 arrays. This subwoofer employs a horn-loaded design within a compact form factor, ensuring both a smaller size and exceptional low-frequency response over long distances.
Advanced Amplification Technology
Powered by the cutting-edge Digipro G4® 1600W Class D amplifier, the VIO S118 features Power Factor Correction (PFC) and switch-mode power supply (SMPS) for improved resistance to voltage fluctuations. The Digipro G4 pre-amp supports RD Net system monitoring and future upgrades with DanteTM digital audio transmission, NFC, and front grille LED indications.
User-Friendly Controls and Configuration
The built-in pre-amp facilitates diagnostics via auto-test functionality, and an on-board delay module offers up to 9.9 ms delay in 0.1 ms increments. Additional features include cardioid preset for rear sub configurations, attenuation control, and comprehensive input/output management.
Durable and Versatile Design
Constructed from sturdy Multiplex plywood with a black polyurea finish, the VIO S118 is equipped with integrated flying hardware for versatile installation options. It can be flown via DRK-210 flybar, adapted for stacked configurations, and transported easily with the DO-VIOS118 trolley.
