Housed in a convenient 500 series lunchbox-style chassis, the dbx 530 Parametric Equalizer is based on the classic dbx 905 and offers three distinct filters bands with dedicated frequency bandwidth (Q) control. Up to 15 dB of reciprocal cut or boost may be applied.
For problematic situations that require the removal of a spurious frequency, each filter band may be independently set to “infinite notch” without affecting the operation of the other bands. The equalizer’s high and low bands can also be independently switched from peaking to shelving operation. The unit’s “In” button allows you to compare the affected/bypassed signal.
