This ensures the correct set-up for Ortofon cartridges, accommodating their lower height from the stylus tip to the top mounting surface. For Quintet cartridges, a 3.2 – 4 mm spacer is recommended. Simply loosen the screws, insert the spacer, and lock the screws to get your tonearm ready for optimal performance.

Compatibility with Rega brand TT/TA:
REGA brand cartridges have a lower mounting height from the stylus tip to the top. To correctly set up the Ortofon cartridge, spacers are needed. You can easily adjust the Rega tonearm height from 0.5 mm to 3.5 mm without removing it: just loosen the screws, insert the AS-spacer, and tighten the screws. For the Quintet cartridge, 3.2 – 4 mm spacers are recommended.
